Mixed-Use Developments

TSA have recently completed several conceptual studies for mixed-use developments along the Queensland coast, spanning from Cairns to the Gold Coast. Below is a snapshot of these projects along with a completed project located in Brisbane.

As one half of development company Graya Construction — the firm behind the impressive transformation of a Paddington hoarder home to a very cool pad, among others — Andrew Gray has had plenty of experience to draw on when it came to constructing his own family home designed by Tim Stewart Architects, within the same suburb…

Brisbane’s Best Site

Designed by Tim Stewart Architects, the proposal includes basement car parking, games room and gymnasium that leads out to a clifftop pool and pool deck.

The upper ground level will comprise a media room, office, study, laundry and combined living, dining and kitchen terrace at the rear.

Russet House

Entry to the Russet House is through the existing home, a pre-war home.  As you come into that existing space we have maintained the elements of character relative to its origins.  You move through the house through a corridor greeted by a special vista that immediately opens up to a very high ceiling over a very fine balustraded mezzanine, leading onto a roof terrace.  All the materials within this space are working together including timber, concrete, zinc and brick creating a very calming and relaxing space.

Moving downstairs and more robust materials are used on the floor creating a grounded and warm space opening to the outside pool area.
